Preliminary Results

Creation of a “grid code”, as a condition for receiving a $300 million World Bank loan for rehabilitating the electric power transmission system, which defines the rights, responsibilities and rules for participants in Kazakhstan’s wholesale power market

Preliminary Results

The KEA has created five standing committees for its membership to improve the exchange of information among its members

KEA publishes a monthly newsletter on the activities of the association and the industry as a whole

After reviewing the budgets and approval procedures of its partners, the KEA staff developed an annual budget that was reviewed and approved by its Board of Directors
