Jake A. Swanson serves as a Program Coordinator for USEA’s Energy Utility Partnership Program (EUPP), which promotes best practices, regulatory reform and private sector solutions to help solve energy problems in developing countries. He is responsible for planning and implementing partnership activities in Africa, Asia, and the United States, including training programs, workshops, conferences, and executive exchanges on clean energy and sustainable development. His role also supports EUPP's briefings, communications, and the Women in Energy series.
Jake holds a B.A. in Political Science and Environmental Studies from American University. Prior to joining USEA in July 2019, he interned for the Delegation of the European Union to the United States, CDP, and the United States Senate.
