The International Energy Agency Clean Coal Centre (IEACCC) is pleased to announce a new combined conference and workshop to be held in Chennai, India, from 16-20 November 2015. The week begins with a one-day workshop on Energy Efficiency and Emission Challenges for India (co-hosted by the US State Department and IEA CCC). The three day 11th annual Mercury/multi-pollutant Emissions from Coal (MEC) workshop, co-hosted by BHEL follows. The United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) Coal Partnership Area meeting runs immediately after MEC. The week finishes with a site visit to a local Indian coal-fired power plant. Both workshops will look at emissions of all pollutants to air, not just mercury.
