The energy industry landscape has transformed, and as Africa and the United States get their respective energy sector recoveries underway, now is the time to take a new approach to Africa’s most important commercial partnership in oil, gas and power. As the Biden Administration resets and places new focus on the U.S.-Africa relationship, Energy Capital & Power (ECP), in partnership with the African Energy Chamber’s (AEC) U.S.-Africa Committee will introduce American companies to African opportunities, promote greater investment into selected African nations, and advance an agenda of sustainable, long term investment in African energy and other sectors by U.S. organizations.

The U.S.-Africa Energy Forum is supported by champions of Africa in Washington, D.C. and Houston, and celebrates America’s vital role in Africa’s future prosperity. As partners, the United States and Africa are leaders in defining and shaping the global energy transition.

Key themes will include the energy transition and Africa as a clean energy hub, energy storage and strategic minerals, Africa’s place in global energy supply chains, gas as a vital fuel for the energy transition and development, the ongoing role of petroleum resources, and repositioning the U.S. as the primary partner of choice for African energy developers.
