Mr. Eckel is President, CEO and Chairman of Hannon Armstrong (NYSE:HASI), a capital provider focused on reducing the impact of, or increasing resiliency to, climate change. Mr. Eckel has led Hannon Armstrong in the role of President and CEO since 2000, and was also with the firm from 1985 to 1989. Previously, he held senior executive positions as CEO of EnergyWorks, LLC and Wärtsilä Power Development. He is currently a member of the board of directors of the Alliance To Save Energy and is a member of the President’s Council of Ceres, Inc., the Cornell University Program in Infrastructure Policy advisory board and on the board of The Nature Conservancy of MD and DC. Mr. Eckel has over 35 years of experience in structuring, executing and operating energy and infrastructure investments. Mr. Eckel received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Miami University in 1980 and a Master of Public Administration degree from Syracuse University, Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs, in 1981.

Serving on the President’s Cabinet, University Council (chair), and multiple committees, Colin facilitates the creation of strategy at all university levels. With work spanning 20 countries, 32 years and multiple sectors, Colin has extensive executive experience in corporate strategy, finance, marketing, capital formation, sustainability and turnarounds. Colin is a member of the Samford University faculty and previously served on the faculties of the Kellogg School of Management, Lipscomb University’s Institute for Sustainable Practice, Birmingham-Southern College, and Auburn University’s Economic & Community Development Institute. Colin has designed curriculum in sustainability for the Ecotech Institute in Denver, Colorado as well as serving on the school’s advisory board. Colin is a LEED Accredited Professional and served as Chief Operating Officer of the nation’s first fully sustainable diversified real estate corporation.

John “Jack” Betkoski III is Vice Chairman of Connecticut’s Public Utilities Regulatory Authority (PURA). Betkoski has served on Connecticut’s utility regulatory authority since 1997 when he was named a Commissioner of the Department of Public Utility Control. He was elected Vice Chairman of that body in 2007. When PURA was established on July 1, 2011 as the state’s new regulatory authority, Betkoski was appointed a Director by Governor Dannel P. Malloy and elected as Vice Chairman of the new authority. In addition to his NECPUC and NARUC responsibilities, Betkoski is currently Chairman of the Connecticut Water Planning Council. Betkoski is also a member of the American Water Works Association Research Foundation’s Public Council on Drinking Water Research.

Mr. Atwood manages the Baltimore City’s Office of Sustainable Energy. In that position he raised substantial capital for energy efficiency and energy production projects for city operations such as Combined Heat and Power and solar generation projects. Under his leadership the City Government has reduced its energy costs by $15 million/yr. In addition, he established an energy efficiency loan program for non-profit organizations. The City now has an Energy Plan guiding its operations, planning and development. He has over thirty years of international experience developing clean energy technology projects for both the government and private sector. Mr. Atwood holds Masters Degrees in Chemical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, and in Business Administration from Johns Hopkins University, as well as a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Maryland.
