This briefing will discuss how the Internet of Things (IoT) can help minimize investment risk and maximize the returns of future power generation of renewable projects in around the world. Mr. Schoklitsch will discuss ARISTOTELES, Kaiserwetter’s platform, which has just recently rolled out new functionalities based on smart data, as well as predictive data analytics (incl. power curve modeling, various temperature analysis, power production forecasts etc.).

Hanno Schoklitsch is the CEO and founder of Kaiserwetter Energy Asset Management. He is a civil engineer and holds a master degree in Business Administration. As a civil engineer, he is specialized in the construction of hydro power stations, which gives him the basic understanding of energy assets. Hanno started his career within real estate investment companies e.g. heading the second biggest German real estate fund. The understanding of managing assets and energy was the basis to create Kaiserwetter in 2012. Over the last 5 years he transformed Kaiserwetter into a digital company being an IntelliTech performing Data Analytics as a Service (DAaaS). Hanno and his team have developed its IoT platform ARISTOTELES supporting investors and banks to maximize their returns while minimizing their investment risk. Utilizing Smart Data Analytics, Predictive Analytics, Augmented Analytics and Artificial Intelligence are the key elements catalyzing investment into renewable energy fighting climate change globally.

Khary Cauthen joined Cheniere Energy as the Washington DC Vice President for Federal Affairs in August of 2018 after 12 years at the American Petroleum Institute (API) in Washington DC where he served as Senior Director. In his capacity at API, he managed major policy initiatives through the Executive Branch and Congress as well as senior executive engagements during both the Obama and Trump Administrations. Khary was the Special Assistant to the Chairman for the Council for Environmental Quality (CEQ) in the George W. Bush White House, and was a senior official at the EPA for Administrator Christine Whitman. He holds a B.S. in Finance from Mount Saint Mary’s University in Emmitsburg, Maryland.
