David B. Johnson has served as the Acting Chief of the Division of Capital Investment since April 2014. A graduate of the University of Texas at Austin and Cornell Law School, Johnson practiced law in Connecticut, Texas, Maryland, and Washington, D.C. for over 18 years before joining the Office of Indian Economic Development (IED) in 2006. He has served as an Acting Branch Chief at the Department of Interior's Office of the Solicitor, an Acting Judge at the Interior Board of Indian Appeals, and an Acting Chief of the former IED Division of Indian Energy Policy Development. Johnson authored the current program regulations for 25 CFR Part 103 and all the program's forms.

Mr. Lushetsky is currently a Senior Advisor to the Executive Director for the Department of Energy’s Loan Programs Office where he is responsible for leading and advising on outreach initiatives for the Tribal Energy Loan Guarantee Program (TELGP) as well as other LPO programs.  He previously was the Executive Director for the Army’s Energy Initiatives Task Force and the Director of the DOE Solar Energy Technologies Program.  Prior to the Government, he held a number of executive roles in the private sector for business development and financing of energy and other advanced technologies. 

This customized training program is designed for the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT) to rapidly develop capacity of their personnel to adapt to a competitive market.  The training will be conducted as part of the U.S. Agency for International Development’s (USAID) U.S.-Asia Gas Partnership (AGP).
