    Apoorv Sinha is the CEO and Co-Founder of Carbon Upcycling Technologies Inc. Apoorv has over 10 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, with a focus on process safety management and research and development. Prior to joining Carbon Upcycling, Apoorv was a Research Manager at zEroCor Tubulars Inc. and a Process Safety Management Engineer at ACM Facility Safety. Apoorv has also served as a Fellow at the Energy Futures Lab, where they worked on initiatives to identify, test and scale new energy technologies.

    Apoorv Sinha has a degree in chemical and biomolecular engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, and a degree in chemical and petroleum engineering from the University of Calgary.

    Most recently, Anna advised Fortune 100 companies on sustainability, energy transition, and using digital solutions to achieve carbon transparency at an energy and climate consulting firm COEFFICIENT and co-hosted the Digital Climate Alliance. In prior roles, Anna ran Government Relations at Schneider Electric, leading a team of federal and state government and industry liaisons. She built coalitions, and developed federal and state policy and programs focused on building decarbonization and innovative finance at Johnson Controls. In the first half of her career she represented associations and foundations in Washington, DC on trade and energy policy. Anna is a graduate of the Georgetown School of Foreign Service.

As VP of Corporate Finance at Altra Biofuels, he oversaw more than $300M in project-level financing for the company’s 4 ethanol facilities. Will started his career with UBS Investment Bank in New York, after taking his BA in Economics and Government from the University of Virginia.

    Hillary O’Brien leads both ClearPath’s carbon management policy team and its energy-agnostic research team. In this role, Hillary guides the development of innovation, financing, and regulatory policies for a wide range of carbon capture technologies and carbon removal solutions with a focus on the oil and gas sector. She also oversees ClearPath’s cross-cutting research projects and external partnerships.

    Before joining ClearPath, Hillary served as Staff Director of the Energy Subcommittee of the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Science, Space and Technology where she directed and managed legislative priorities across the Committee’s Department of Energy jurisdictional portfolio. During her nearly seven years with the Science Committee, Hillary supported the passage of various clean energy bills including the CHIPS and Science Act of 2022, the Energy Act of 2020, and the National Quantum Initiative Act of 2018. Hillary also brings to ClearPath a unique understanding of infrastructure projects thanks to her years of experience as a project engineer in the commercial construction industry in Washington D.C. and Boston, Massachusetts.
