The 19th Annual Wall Street Green Summit is the longest running and most comprehensive sustainable finance event in the industry. It will be held on Monday March 23, 2020 in New York. Launched in 2002 by Peter Fusaro, the Wall Street Green Summit covers cutting edge content, industry developments and features the leading practitioners in sustainability. More importantly, it is aimed at building the sustainable finance system for responsible investing and the changing role of business in sustainability.
An Appalachian petrochemical and manufacturing renaissance, driven by energy, is underway. This meeting, hosted by the U.S. Department of Energy’s Office of Fossil Energy, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Office of Rural Development, the Small Business Administration, and the United States Energy Association, will assist small, rural businesses with accessing capital through Federal programs.
The East Africa Geothermal Project (EAGP) supported the First International Symposium on Geothermal Energy in Ethiopia. EAGP Program Director Andrew Palmateer participated as a guest speaker sharing his experience working in the geothermal energy sector in Ethiopia and East Africa.
The United States Energy Association (USEA), sponsored two short courses for the ARGeo C7 conference held in Kigali, Rwanda. These “Short Courses” provided two days of instruction related to geothermal conceptual modeling and reservoir management.
