Organized jointly by the U.S. Department of Energy and China’s National Energy Administration, around 150 U.S. and Chinese industry and government executives and researchers are expected to attend the 2017 CCIF to address key issues related to the development and deployment of clean coal technologies and strategies, with an aim to foster research and development cooperation and expanding business opportunities between the two countries.
Participants, including leaders from industry, government, academia, media, consulting firms, and non-governmental organizations, will examine ways for the U.S. and China to address the changes in the use of coal, while examining challenges and promoting international cooperation. Opportunities for joint research, technology development and commercial collaboration will be highlighted through a series of discussions.
