WASHINGTON, D.C. – The United States Energy Association (USEA) successfully concluded its premier annual gathering, the State of the Energy Industry Forum, yesterday, welcoming a record-breaking number of attendees to the year’s most influential meeting of energy trade leaders and policymakers. The forum convened CEOs from Washington’s leading energy trade associations to forecast their priorities for the U.S. energy sector at a pivotal moment for national policy.

“In addition to the insightful conversations by our expert panelists and moderators, we were honored to be joined by Secretary Chris Wright as he shared the Administration’s energy priorities for the year ahead,” USEA President & CEO Mark Menezes said. “To say the turnout was incredible was an understatement and I hope all attendees walked away not just with critical insights about our energy sector, but about the impact of USEA and its value as a convening force.”

The forum delivered actionable perspectives through a series of dynamic panels featuring the nation's top energy executives. These sessions provided a deep dive into the industry’s most pressing objectives, starting with an examination of how U.S. energy resources and infrastructure strengthen national energy security. Subsequent discussions focused on the delicate balance of maintaining energy affordability alongside reliability and evolving system demands, as well as navigating the complex challenges and opportunities across the equipment supply chain. The forum also addressed the critical need for practical approaches to improving permitting efficiency while meeting regulatory expectations and concluded with an exploration of the emerging technologies and new models that are actively shaping the future of the energy sector.
