Applying Grid Enhancing Technologies to Accelerate Renewable Energy Integration

The Working for Advanced Transmission Technologies (WATT) Coalition released a new analysis titled Unlocking the Queue from The Brattle Group. The report quantifies the ability of three cutting edge Grid-Enhancing Technologies (GETs) to integrate greater amounts of wind and solar generation than possible without the technologies. This report shows how active management of the grid can deliver more clean power over the existing network, benefitting customers and the environment in the very near term.
