Quest is one of the largest carbon capture and storage projects in North America, and the first CCS project on oil sands.  Bill Spence, Manager of Strategic Issues for Shell Upstream International, described the Quest project and also: 

 1) Provided updates on Shell's other CCS projects around the world, including Australia's Gorgon; 

 2) Discussed the importance of CCS as a mitigation technology; and 

 3) Identified key strategies for keeping CCS deployment on track.
