Two Energy Executives Appointed to USEA Board of Directors


Washington, D.C. – Last week, during the Spring USEA Board of Directors meeting, two new Directors were confirmed by the Board. The new Directors were officially appointed by Executive Chairman Vicky Bailey and voted on by the Board.

The two new Directors are:

     • Mario Azar, Chairman and CEO-elect, Black & Veatch

     • Dena Wiggins, President & CEO, Natural Gas Supply Association (NGSA)

USEA Executive Chairman Vicky Bailey issued the following statement:

“I welcome these two incredible energy leaders to USEA’s Board of Directors. Mario and Dena’s knowledge of the energy landscape will help USEA grow as an organization and adapt to the challenges of our rapidly transforming sector. I welcome both new Directors and I look forward to working with them.”

USEA Acting Executive Director Sheila Hollis said:

“I welcome Mario and Dena to the USEA Board, and I am eager to begin working with them. They join our Board in a unique time in which the energy sector has been quickly evolving. Our nation’s changing grids, regulatory systems, and emerging technologies demand that energy organizations be flexible and adjust to the reality of the era we are in.
