USEA President & CEO Mark W. Menezes today issued the following statement in response to Governor Doug Burgum being nominated to lead the Department of the Interior and Chris Wright being nominated to lead the Department of Energy, and the establishment of the National Energy Council:

These departments do critical work to address our nation’s energy and environmental challenges,” says Menezes, who is the immediate past Deputy Secretary of the United States Department of Energy.
