The United States Energy Association (USEA), sponsored two short courses for the ARGeo C7 conference held in Kigali, Rwanda. These “Short Courses” provided two days of instruction related to geothermal conceptual modeling and reservoir management. The courses wer successfully carried out with continuing instructor-student interactions during the lectures, allowing for detailed discussions of real-world examples when dealing with techniques of conceptual modelling, analysis and data interpretation, drilling designs and reservoir models. The courses were provided in English and met with a positive response from students during subsequent days at the conference, and the participants came from various backgrounds, and were university students, mining engineers, geologists, geophysicists, reservoir engineers, and project managers.
