Female Leaders in Energy (FLIE) Mentee Capstone Presentation

Since 2021, with funding from the U.S. Department of State, Bureau of Energy Resources (ENR), USEA has been implementing the Female Leaders in Energy (FLIE) initiative through the Indo-Pacific Energy Market Investment and Modernization (EMIM) partnership. The FLIE partnership aims to advance the professional development of early- to mid-career-level women working in energy sectors across Southeast Asia and the Pacific. The first cohort of 32 mentees hails from Fiji, Indonesia, Laos Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, Timor-Leste, and Vietnam.

Throughout the program, FLIE mentees participated in six technical workshops to improve their industry knowledge and leadership skills. Simultaneously, mentees worked on a capstone project intended to develop their project management skills, showcase their new technical and leadership skills, and demonstrate their ability to be leaders and changemakers within their own organizations and/or industries.

USEA invites you to join us virtually to observe each mentee’s capstone presentation. In approximately 10 minutes each, mentees will introduce their capstone project, its goals, summary of key activities, description of the final project output, and key findings and impacts of the project.
