Market and Opportunities Assessment South Asia Report Launch
On December 15, we hosted the report launch on "Market and Opportunities Assessment for Mobilizing Private Sector Participation and Investment to Support Energy Sector Transition in South Asia" and discussions on the relevance of findings for the region. This report identifies the critical financing gaps and private sector engagement opportunities alongside recommending financing and non-financing interventions to address these gaps. This report was developed by United States Energy Association (USEA) under U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID)'s South Asia Regional Energy Hub (SAREH) program.
This report studies country-wise detailed market assessment with an overview of the broad landscape of the clean energy sector, current investment trends and outlook towards the clean energy sector, key risks, uncertainties involved in the development of the clean energy sector, and innovative financing instruments. The countries covered in the report are Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and the Maldives. The report launch will be followed by a panel discussion on ways to plug the financing gaps, the next steps, and the roadmap ahead. Register to join us.
