USEA Briefing on Hydrogen
Hydrogen is a key part of the U.S. decarbonization plan. Recently DOE announced $7 billion in federal funds to establish regional hydrogen hubs. The hubs — funded through the IRA infrastructure law — are part of the administration's efforts to jump-start an industry it sees as key to achieving climate goals. The aim is to demonstrate everything from the production and storage of hydrogen to its transport and consumption.
USEA is pleased to host a briefing with Dr. Sunita Satyapal, Director of DOE’s Hydrogen Fuel Cell Technologies Office brief USEA on their program.
Dr. Satyapal will be joined by Frank Wolak and Eric Guter. Mr. Wolak is the President and CEO of the Washington, DC based Fuel Cell and Hydrogen Energy Association (FCHEA), an industry association for hydrogen energy and fuel cell technologies. Mr. Guter is Vice President, Hydrogen for Mobility at Air Products. He has responsiblity for the company's global Hydrogen for Mobility activities and team, driving growth, profitability, and operational excellence.
This is the first of a series of 2024 USEA remote one hour briefings on hydrogen with government and private sector experts.
