Traci Rodosta

Biography: 

Traci Rodosta serves as the Head of Americas for the Global CCS Institute, where she leads regional strategy, member engagement, and advocacy to advance the deployment of carbon capture and storage (CCS) across the Americas. Throughout her career, she has focused on developing and implementing strategies to address technical and non-technical challenges in carbon storage. Her work has emphasized accelerating the CCS systems from research and development through the build-out of commercial-scale storage infrastructure. She has consistently worked to enhance stakeholder understanding of subsurface geologic concepts, risk management, and system integration to support the development of regional storage solutions.


Ms. Rodosta brings more than 20 years of federal service with the U.S. Department of Energy, during which she held multiple senior leadership roles, including Senior Program Manager for Carbon Storage Infrastructure, Critical Minerals and Coal to Products Program Manager, Carbon Storage R&D Technology Manager, Division Director, and Regional Carbon Sequestration Partnership Coordinator. In these roles, she oversaw complex portfolios, guided national research and deployment initiatives, and advanced the United States’ carbon storage capabilities through strategic program execution.


Prior to her federal tenure, Ms. Rodosta worked for Texaco and Chevron as a Development Geoscientist supporting the East Texas and Rockies Business Units, and as an Exploration Geoscientist for the Angola LNG Project and the Nigeria Deepwater Business Unit. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Louisiana State University and a Master of Science degree from the University of New Orleans.
