Biography: 

Marjorie is the Senior Program Director at the U.S. Energy Association (USEA). She has over 30 years of experience managing government-funded energy programs in the United States and around the world. She has led capacity-building initiatives, technical exchanges, and stakeholder engagement efforts in Africa, Latin America, Asia, and the Caribbean, partnering closely with the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), the U.S. Department of Energy, and other federal agencies. Marjorie's work supports the institutional development of overseas utilities and government entities, helping to strengthen energy security, expand access, and promote sustainable practices.

She has developed and implemented a wide range of training and technical assistance programs focused on energy markets, grid and distribution operations, customer service, regulation, tariff design, power purchase agreements, competitive procurement, and gender equity. Her leadership ensures that participating utilities gain the necessary skills and tools to operate efficiently and effectively in an evolving energy landscape.

Marjorie holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Long Island University and graduated from the U.S. Army’s Primary Leadership and Personnel Management Specialist academies, earning distinction for her performance.
