Morgan Scott is Director for Climate READi (REsilience and ADaptation initiative), Sustainability & Ecosystem Stewardship at EPRI. In this role, Morgan leads EPRI’s Climate READi effort designed to develop a comprehensive industry approach to physical climate risk assessment and mitigation. She also leads a research team driving work in three programmatic areas: Ecosystem Risk and Resiliency; Endangered and Protected Species; and Strategic Sustainability Science. Prior to this role, Morgan led EPRI’s portfolio of sustainability research, focused on developing tools and resources electric power companies can use to establish and enhance sustainability programs, embed a triple bottom line mindset throughout their organizations, and enable a more sustainable economy throughout the communities they serve. In 2021 Morgan launched EPRI’s Equitable Decarbonization Initiative, aimed to advance technical research and cross -sector dialogue to examine decarbonization through an equity-focused lens, considering the role of research in technology, program, and policy development. She has also helped develop and launch EPRI’s work on Climate Scenario Analysis and Indoor Agriculture. Morgan is lead author on numerous EPRI reports exploring sustainability priority issues, metrics, and disclosure trends, and a co-editor of Sustainable Electricity II: A Conversation on Tradeoffs (2019).

Prior to joining EPRI, Morgan was the Sustainability Manager at Consolidated Edison Company of New York. In this role, Morgan managed the company’s sustainability strategy and associated initiatives, as well as the production of the company’s annual sustainability report and voluntary disclosure activities. Prior to being the Sustainability Manager, Morgan held positions of increasing responsibility in Supply Chain; Customer Experience; Energy Management; and Environment, Health & Safety.

Morgan received a B.S. in Business Administration from Wagner College and a M.S. in Sustainability Management from Columbia University.
