As part of the "Global Workshop on Clean Energy Development", funded by the U.S. Agency for International Development, the U.S. Energy Association will hold a public briefing on the status of clean energy development in the participating countries.  The briefing will include presentations about each country's energy sector and clean energy development plans.  Topics will include:

• Snapshot of the country’s energy sector
• Renewable energy programs
• Energy efficiency and conservation
• Incentives and policies

The briefing will include presentations from ministry officials, regulatory officials, utility employees and private sector energy experts from the following countries:

• Colombia
• Dominican Republic
• El Salvador
• Ghana
• Indonesia
• Mexico
• South Africa
