Biography:
Anna is the Team Lead for the Macroeconomics and Emissions Team in the Office of Energy Analysis at the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA). Her team produces macro drivers and tracks emissions activity for the EIA models used in the Annual Energy Outlook (AEO), the International Energy Outlook, and the Short Term Energy Outlook. They developed the new carbon capture model first released in AEO2025. Prior to joining the EIA, Anna was an Assistant Professor of Finance at Southern Methodist University and an Assistant Economist at the New York Federal Reserve. She holds a PhD in Finance from the Wharton School of Business and bachelor's degrees in economics and mathematics from the University of Pennsylvania.
