Biography: 

Dr. Harrison has over 40 years of experience in studying Michigan geology. He has authored or co-authored more than 40 publications on Sedimentology, Stratigraphy and Petroleum Geology. He has also supervised over 50 Master’s Theses and Ph.D. Dissertations by students dealing with Michigan Geology. Dr. Harrison is the founder and continues as an active researcher for the Michigan Geological Survey’s Core and Data repository (MGRRE) which houses the State of Michigan’s subsurface geological data and sample collections.
