Biography:
Monica is an Economist with a master's degree in Public Policy. She has over ten years of experience analyzing and developing regulations and public policies related to renewable energy and energy transition in the LATAM region.
Monica worked at Colombia’s Ministry of Mines and Energy where she led the country's Energy Transition strategies. She was also the coordinator of the Energy Transformation Mission for the modernization of the power sector, led the Geothermal initiative, and the Hydrogen strategy of the country. Monica has worked in companies such as SerColombia, Ernst & Young, Fedesarrollo and ANDEG developing and implementing strategies related to energy and sustainable mobility.
