USAID/USEA Launch Eastern Europe Natural Gas Partnership

The United States Energy Association USEA), through a United States Agency for International (USAID) supported project, has structured a landmark agreement among seven transmission system operators (TSOs) in seven countries in Eastern Europe to work together on planning, expanding and potentially interconnecting natural gas pipeline infrastructure.

USEA applauds President Trump’s plan to renegotiate a global climate deal

Washington, DC— On Thursday, President Trump announced that his administration would renegotiate U.S. obligations under the Paris Agreement.
In a statement, USEA Executive Director, Barry Worthington, said:

“USEA supports a clean energy economy, and we work to advance clean energy technologies, such as carbon capture and sequestration, which can reduce carbon emissions and meet global climate goals.

Carbon Sequestration Leadership Forum Americas Regional Meeting

June 1st, 2017

The Carbon Sequestration Leadership Forum (CSLF) is a Ministerial-level international climate change initiative that is focused on the development of improved cost-effective technologies for CCS. It also promotes awareness and champions legal, regulatory, financial, and institutional environments conducive to such technologies. The CSLF Secretariat plans to increase stakeholder outreach and engagement to align the CSLF message alongside other voices in the industry.
