The Carbon Sequestration Leadership Forum (CSLF) is a Ministerial-level international climate change initiative that is focused on the development of improved cost-effective technologies for CCS. It also promotes awareness and champions legal, regulatory, financial, and institutional environments conducive to such technologies. The CSLF Secretariat plans to increase stakeholder outreach and engagement to align the CSLF message alongside other voices in the industry.
Recognizing that CCS development varies from region to region, the CSLF in 2017 is implementing regional stakeholder dialogues designed to accurately reflect the diverse needs in order to achieve CCS success in each geographic region. Participants should be expected to engage actively in the discussion as their contributions will be paramount to the future of CSLF. The United States Energy Association hosted the first CSLF Regional Americas dialogue on May 25, 2017.
