Khalid currently serves as Supervisory Investment Officer at U.S. Department of Energy’s loan program office. In his current role, he leads a team of professionals in deal underwriting, term sheet negotiation and bringing loans to financial close.  Khalid has over 20 years of experience in lending, investment and risk management activities related to energy sector.   Prior to joining DOE, he was the Senior Vice President at Constellation Energy Commodities where he led Global Credit Risk Management Group.   Prior to Constellation Energy, Khalid was Vice President at Goldman Sachs responsible for credit risk management and advisory work in the energy sector.
