Dr. Will Pettitt is Executive Director of Geothermal Rising, formarlly Geothermal Resources Council (GRC). Geothermal Rising is a non-profit professional association that was established in the U.S.A. in 1972 and today has over 1200 members in 44 countries. Geothermal Rising  supports and promotes geothermal energy to a wide audience of government, industry, academia and the general public, through communication of robust research, knowledge and guidance. Will is an applied geophysicist expert in subsurface science and geomechanics. Before leading the GRC, he managed consulting companies in Minneapolis and the United Kingdom.
