Additional project announcements upcoming. These $2 billion complexes integrate innovative onsite natural gas extraction which avoids 99% of conventional upstream emissions, onsite synthesis of ultra-low-carbon hydrogen by separating 99%+ of carbon from hydrogen in methane and returning the CO2 back deep underground, all with zero-carbon onsite power generation. These facilities will produce some of the world’s lowest carbon, lowest cost hydrogen at large scale. Products vary by site, but include hydrogen for the mobility market, ammonia for industrial processes, and co-products of urea for fertilizer and for diesel exhaust treatment.
Of note, this months, KeyState Natural Gas Synthesis & CCUS was selected by DOE as part of the ARCH2 Hydrogen Hub awards and lands KeyState squarely in America’s coming hydrogen economy. www.KeyState.net
