Yvonne Fatiaki is currently the Manager of the Legal department at Energy Fiji Limited, where she has worked for the past nine years. In her current role, she reports directly to the CEO of EFL to advise on energy projects, construction, personnel, commercial law, and land acquisition. Additionally, Yvonne works closely with many government agencies to establish joint agreement terms for power developments – and with other Pacific Island Countries (PICs) as needed. She serves a key role in liaising with the Judiciary agency, the Solicitor-General’s Office, and the Attorney-General’s Office. Yvonne received her degree (LLB) and postgraduate at Bond University in Queensland, Australia. She was admitted to the Supreme Court of Qld in 2002 and the High Court of Fiji in 2002. She has been practicing as both a Barrister and Solicitor in Fiji since 2002. Her law specialization includes energy, construction, commercial law, property, banking & insurance, and criminal & civil law.
