Chris Lindsey is the Director of Transmission and Distribution Planning at Tucson Electric Power (TEP). He is responsible for direction and oversight for long & short-term planning as well as interconnection review and approvals for both the transmission and distribution systems.

Chris joined TEP in 2006 as a Distribution Planning Engineer and focused on distribution planning, engineering, and interconnections as an engineer and manager in the area for roughly 10 years. He then added responsibility in the transmission planning area with focus on T&D planning process improvements, compliance, and large-scale renewable integration. Chris has also supported many company initiatives related to the integration of new technologies as it relates to the distribution system.

Chris is a graduate of the University of Arizona and has a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering. He is also a registered Professional Engineer in the state of Arizona.
