Greg Kosowksi
Mr. Kosowski’s career has focused on modeling and simulation, with an emphasis on power plant design and operation. Mr. Kosowski has worked with all types of conventional power plants, including fossil, nuclear, and hydro, as well as unconventional power systems such as gasification, solar energy, and fuel cells. He has also worked extensively with the design, tuning, and optimization of control systems, and has been a leader in advancing the use of simulation for design and control of pollution abatement equipment. He has been directly involved in carbon abatement projects including carbon capture from a fossil fuel power plant, and oxy-combustion.
Mr. Kosowski is Vice President of Engineering at TRAX International. TRAX is a world leader in providing simulation tools and products to the power and process industries. Prior to joining TRAX, Mr. Kosowski worked in an engineering capacity at several companies, including Babcock and Wilcox and IGT, participating in projects ranging from boiler design to coal gasification. He is a registered Professional Engineer in Virginia and Oklahoma.
