Mr. Matt Antes is Acting Director for Engagement in the Office of Fossil Energy and Carbon Management (FECM) at the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE). In this role he works with domestic and international stakeholders to facilitate information exchanges and engagements on carbon management technologies, increasing the positive outcomes of FECM’s investments and helping to maximize project benefits. Prior to joining DOE, Matt served as Director at a Washington DC area energy and climate change consultancy, providing policy and technology advisement for the DOE Offices of International Affairs, Policy, Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy, and FECM. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Missouri, and a Master’s degree in Public Policy and Management from Carnegie Mellon University.
