Nate Duckett graduated from Farmington High School in 1996 and received his Bachelor’s degree in Criminology from the University of New Mexico in 2001.

A 12 year retail management career with Hastings Entertainment was followed by an equally successful career as a Farmers Insurance agent. Nate is an active member of our community having served 4 years as Farmington City Councilor in District 4 prior to being elected as Mayor of Farmington in 2018. He is also a graduate of Leadership New Mexico, a board member for the Farmington Chamber of Commerce and Leadership San Juan, and coaches youth baseball and football.

Nate’s wife Barbie is a RN at San Juan Regional Medical Center and they have two children, Hannah 15 and Ethan 12 years old
