Igrid Rosario Gregory has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Puerto Rico, Mayagüez, and a master’s degree from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Ms. Gregory moved to Oak Ridge, TN, in 1989 to participate in a research program at Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) sponsored by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) and administered by Oak Ridge Associated Universities (now, the Oak Ridge Institute for Science and Education, ORISE). After completion of her research program, Ms. Gregory worked for the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, first as a research assistant, later as a laboratory manager. Ms. Gregory has more than 15 years of experience directing and managing a team of in-house resources within the ORISE Workforce Development program unit. In her current position as a group manager, Ms. Gregory directs a portfolio of nationally known, competition-based federal educational and workforce development programs. Ms. Gregory leads and oversees the management of all aspects of the programs including the processing of applications; recruitment and outreach, selection of applicants and reviewers; coordination of panel reviews; management of quality assurance of applicant, reviewer and participant data; and monitoring the status of key milestones and project deliverables. Her group portfolio includes the following DOE programs: American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) Science and Technology Policy Fellowships, National Science Bowl, DOE Office of Science Graduate Student Research Program, DOE Scholars Program, DOE Science, Technology and Policy Program, Fusion Energy Sciences Postdoctoral Research Program, Albert Einstein Distinguished Educator Fellowship Program, Minority Educational Institution Student Partnership Program, EERE Research Participating Programs, and the NNSA-Minority Serving Institution Internship Program.

Cristina Cordero is the U.S. Department of Energy's (DOE) Mickey Leland Energy Fellowship (MLEF) Program Coordinator. Her career at DOE started in 2017 when she joined the DOE's Office of Fossil Energy and Carbon Management as a Pathways Summer Intern. Prior to joining DOE, Cristina served as a Bill Clerk at the House of Representatives in Puerto Rico, and as a Disney College Program Campus Representative. Cristina obtained a bachelor's degree in communications and a master's in public administration, both from the University of Puerto Rico - Río Piedras. During her free time, she practices fencing (épée) and volunteers at the local animal shelter.
