Biography: 
Cristina Cordero is the U.S. Department of Energy's (DOE) Mickey Leland Energy Fellowship (MLEF) Program Coordinator. Her career at DOE started in 2017 when she joined the DOE's Office of Fossil Energy and Carbon Management as a Pathways Summer Intern. Prior to joining DOE, Cristina served as a Bill Clerk at the House of Representatives in Puerto Rico, and as a Disney College Program Campus Representative. Cristina obtained a bachelor's degree in communications and a master's in public administration, both from the University of Puerto Rico - Río Piedras. During her free time, she practices fencing (épée) and volunteers at the local animal shelter.
