Don Whaley has worked for over 40 years in the natural gas, electricity, and renewables industries, with specific experience in deregulated markets across the U.S. and Canada. He has committed half of that time to the retail market in Texas, where he founded Direct Energy Texas and served as its President during the early years of deregulation. Don has also served as the President of Greenwave Energy and Verde Energy and as the CEO of GenSolutions.

Through his consulting practice, Whaley Energy Consulting, Don has facilitated the launch of a number of small REPs and shaped the energy strategies of commercial and municipal entities. In his new role as President of OhmConnect Texas, Don will spearhead efforts to bring cutting edge technology to the ERCOT grid and provide Texans with fairly-priced and straightforward electricity plans that will benefit both consumers and the environment.

Monica is an Economist with a master's degree in Public Policy. She has over ten years of experience analyzing and developing regulations and public policies related to renewable energy and energy transition in the LATAM region.

Monica worked at Colombia’s Ministry of Mines and Energy where she led the country's Energy Transition strategies. She was also the coordinator of the Energy Transformation Mission for the modernization of the power sector, led the Geothermal initiative, and the Hydrogen strategy of the country. Monica has worked in companies such as SerColombia, Ernst & Young, Fedesarrollo and ANDEG developing and implementing strategies related to energy and sustainable mobility.

The President of Acolgen holds a Bachelor‘s Degree in Business Administration and post-graduate studies in Finance and Project Evaluation. She has served as Vice Minister of Mines, Vice Minister of the Interior, and President of the National Mining Agency.

Natalis has over 20 years of experience in the fields of oil, mines, and energy. She has been the General Manager of Aluvia SAS and Cygnus Project, financial manager of Winchester Oil and Gas, and a Consultant for Advisory Services at the multinational auditor KPMG. Additionally, she has been a member of the Board of Directors of ISA, the National Development Finance Company (FDN), and the National Infrastructure Agency (ANI).

For the last 18 years Pallavi has focused her efforts at the intersection of climate tech and climate strategy. Having started off as a solar engineer, she has had a front row seat in the evolving energy transition landscape across both the private and the public sector. Under her leadership the state of NJ saw the introduction of incentives for clean energy companies including those focused on energy efficiency, hydrogen, zero emission vehicles, battery recycling, and waste-to-energy. She continues to be a trusted strategic advisor to State Governments, C-level executives & VCs cutting across various flavors of climate tech. She is currently the VP of Strategic Marketing and Corporate Development at Phase Change Solutions that develops advanced materials to address decarbonization through temperature management.
