Biography: 

Jessica Rosen is currently a Director, Office of Environment, USAID/Colombia’s robust environmental program and brings experience from previous roles at USAID. She manages an annual budget of approximately $20 million to support the Government of Colombia, regional authorities, indigenous peoples, civil society, and the private sector to address environmental threats. The programs aim to 1) address the drivers and impacts of conflict and criminal activity, 2) build on and strengthen social cohesion, civic engagement, and responsible governance, and 3) protect and leverage environmental assets as an engine of inclusive sustainable economic growth. Some of the key focus areas include biodiversity conservation, sustainable landscapes, and renewable energy. Jessica Rosen holds a Master's degree in City/Urban, Community and Regional Planning at Cornell University. With a robust skill set that includes Research, Program Management, Project Management, International Relations, Strategic Planning and more, Jessica Rosen contributes valuable insights to the industry.
