Pat Vincent-Collawn is the interim President and CEO of the Edison Electric Institute (EEI), a position she will hold while EEI’s Board of Directors conducts a comprehensive national search for a permanent leader. Vincent-Collawn has served as a member of EEI’s Board of Directors since 2010, and was the first woman to serve as Chair, from June 2017 to June 2018.


Vincent-Collawn is a loaned executive to EEI and will continue to serve as Chairman and CEO of TXNM Energy. TXNM Energy is the parent company of PNM and TNMP, which combined deliver electricity to approximately 800,000 homes and businesses in New Mexico and Texas.


Vincent-Collawn joined TXNM Energy in 2007 as Utilities President. She was named President and Chief Operating Officer in 2008, and, in March 2010, became President and CEO. The Board elected her Chairman in January 2012.


Before joining PNM in 2007, she served as President and CEO of Public Service Company of Colorado, a subsidiary of Xcel Energy. Before that, she served as Xcel Energy’s President of Customer and Field Operations, overseeing transmission and distribution operations as well as customer service across 10 states. Vincent-Collawn also held management positions with Arizona Public Service, and outside the energy industry with Price Waterhouse and Quaker Oats.


Vincent-Collawn also serves on the boards of Cheniere Energy and Nuclear Electric Insurance Limited. She previously served as Chair of the Electric Power Research Institute. Internationally, she is current Chair, North America for the World Energy Council, and she co-chaired the B20 Italy 2021 Energy & Resource Efficiency Task Force, highlighting her global influence in the energy industry.


As an advocate for the community, Vincent-Collawn has served in roles to improve education, increase economic development, and support organizations that make meaningful impacts in local communities. She was appointed by Governor Susana Martinez as Chair of the New Mexico Partnership in 2015, has twice Chaired the Greater Albuquerque Chamber of Commerce, and is a past Chair of the United Way of Central New Mexico and of the Kirtland Partnership Committee.


Vincent-Collawn holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Drake University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
