Mr. Thanos has been with the Massachusetts Department of Public Utilities for 26 years, during which the state’s natural gas market experienced tremendous transformation. He has experience in rate-setting, infrastructure expansion, and licensing retail natural gas providers. Mr. Thanos is also the Chair of the NARUC Staff Subcommittee on Gas, the co-author of the NARUC LNG Primer, and has broad international experience, including multiple NARUC activities.
