Dean Parsons B.Sc., CISSP, GRID, GSLC, GCIA -- is a Certified SANS instructor for ICS515 teaching ICS (Industrial Control Systems – Operating Technology) Active Defense & ICS Incident Response, and is an active member of the cybersecurity community for IT & ICS Cyber Defense initiatives across North America. Has combined 20 years experience in IT & OT cyber defense across telecommunications and critical infrastructure sectors. The last 8 years Dean has led an active ICS/OT Cybersecurity Program for an electric utility across facilities for generation (hydro, thermal, gas turbine), transmission and distribution, as the OT Cyber Security Officer. On any given day Dean could be dissecting packets from a plant floor, writing policies, or presenting to the board of directors.
