Bertha Dlamini
Ms. Dlamini is a global champion for empowering African women and youth in Africa’s energy sector. As the founding President of African Women in Energy and Power (AWEaP), she spearheads efforts to integrate women entrepreneurs into Africa's energy value chains, combatting energy poverty. Under her leadership, AWEaP has expanded to 22 chapters across Africa, fostering participation and impact.
As the founder of Rito Group of Companies Pty LTD, her consulting firm specializes in management consulting and energy solutions. She is also recognized as a Pan African Energy Stakeholder Management Specialist. Her accolades include the Renewable Energy Visionary award from The Future of Leadership Summit 2024, the 2019 South African Institute of Electrical Engineers Women in Engineering Award, and the 2021 African Queens in Energy Judges Award. Additionally, she holds key industry roles and trustee positions, driving sustainable energy initiatives.
Ms. Dlamini's contributions have garnered international recognition, with AWEaP winning the 2021 WVL SADC Protocol@Work Climate Change Award. Her qualifications include an MBA from the University of Cape Town GBS and an Energy Transition Diploma from Skolkovo Moscow School of Management, Russia.
