Aaron Massaquoi
Aaron Massaquoi is the general manager for the Totota Electric Cooperative (TEC), located 80 miles Northeast of Liberia's capital, Monrovia. He has served in this role since 2017.
TEC operates a solar-powered mini grid that serves 2,500 people in a town that was without power five years ago. Today, TEC's operations are economically self sufficient, and is a model of sustainable power that could lead to more electric co-ops in Liberia. Prior to this role, Mr. Massaquoi had various roles in social and economic development in Liberia, to include working on several projects funded by the U.S. Agency for International Development.
Mr. Massaquoi earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Liberia, with an emphasis in Biology and Chemistry.
