Biography: 

Archip Lobo Ngumba Aimé is one of the co-founders, and the Business Development Officer at Nuru, a scaling minigrid Company dedicated to enhancing connectivity in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Nuru deployed Congo’s first solar-based mini-grid in 2017 and owns a 1.3MW solar hybrid site in Goma, the largest off-grid mini-grid in sub-Saharan Africa. Another solar hybrid site in Beni and two in the Oriental province (Tadu & Faradje) with a 15 Mw project pipeline to be deployed in 2023.

Archip joined the company full-time in June 2019. He is a social entrepreneur with more than four years of project management experience working on Université’s Chrétienne Bilingue du Congo’s (UCBC) Integrated Research Institute’s (IRI) internationally-recognized land governance project. Archip is based in Goma, DRC.
