Bjørn-Erik Haugan has most of his career worked in the area of technology and business development in the energy industry. Before joining  Gassnova in 2004, he worked for 14 years in Kvaerner and General Electric supplying turbines and power systems to the oil and gas and energy industries. He has for many years served on the energy board of the Norwegian Research Council.
