Cecile Conroyjoined the International Brotherhood of Boilermakers in 2004 and currently serves as Director of their Government Affairs Department in Washington, DC. As Director, she is responsible for the political and legislative affairs for the union, advocating for Boilermaker members and retirees on issues ranging from energy policy, trade, ship building, pensions and healthcare. She is a graduate of the Columbus School of Law, Catholic University, Washington, D.C. where she received her Juris Doctor, and is admitted to the Virginia State Bar. She also attended GeorgeMasonUniversity, where she earned a B.A. in Government and International Politics.
