Douglas Brauer is the Vice President of economic development and innovative workforce solutions at Richland Community College located in Decatur Illinois.   Dr. Brauer is experienced in advancing and growing organizations by establishing strategic partnerships, offering total solutions, and adding measurable value.  This has encompassed global industry/business engineering and manufacturing operations roles and higher education roles, which has included directing the global manufacturing operations and engineering for a division of a major telecommunications infrastructure company and, currently, as the Vice President of Economic Development & Innovative Workforce Solutions for Richland Community College, USA.  Since 1992, Dr. Brauer has taught higher education graduate and undergraduate courses in statistics, business, and finance, and is an adjunct professor of Organizational Leadership for Lewis University.  He also is the President of Design Assurance Sciences.
