Catherine Clark is a AAAS Science & Technology Policy Fellow in DOE’s Office of Fossil Energy and Carbon Management (FECM) working on environmental justice and engagement. Previously, Catherine was an MRS/Optica Congressional Science and Engineering Fellow in Senator Durbin’s office on the energy & environment team. She received her PhD in materials science from the University of Minnesota, where she studied perovskite solar cells, and has worked in the energy industry as a mechanical engineer on a variety of energy generation technologies. She is passionate about community organizing and building an energy system rooted in equity and justice.
